Delta Phi Alpha:

Delta Phi Alpha Senior Scholarship Award

Each year, one graduating senior German major is selected in the United States to receive the senior scholarship. This senior is a member of Delta Phi Alpha, has demonstrated excellence in the field of German Studies, and intends to further his / her German studies with research and study abroad in a German-speaking country. This student will be recognized by Delta Phi Alpha as the most outstanding graduating senior and will receive a cash prize of $2000. The graduating senior must also intend to proceed directly with graduate work upon returning to the U.S and apply for the DAAD grant if named the recipient of the prize.

 

Prize: $2000

A student applying for second prize must be:

  • a member of Delta Phi Alpha

  • a bona fide sophomore or junior

  • have a plan to study abroad in a German speaking country
  • apply for a DAAD grant if selected

To apply, fill out the common scholarship form and send completed form to
